Book Competition Tee Times online

If you choose to combine HandicapMaster WHS-GOLD or LOCAL-GOLD editions with Master Scoreboard reporting, you may offer your members the opportunity to book online into member's competitions.
This can be in place of a booking sheet in the clubhouse, or used in conjunction with booking in the clubhouse through the Player Entry system.
This may provide a boost to the number of members playing in club competitions, as free times can easily be booked by players from the comfort of their own homes, whilst easing the administration required.

Booking options available

Players to choose their own tee times

You may choose to offer tee times for members to book into:
Booking into Tee Times

Committee to draw partners and tee times

Alternatively, if you prefer to draw for tee times after all of the entries have been received, names may be collected into 'blocks' for later allocation to tee times. There may be a single block, or more than one block, such as here:
Booking into Blocks
Once entries have been received, these may be imported directly to a HandicapMaster Start Sheet, with random drawing of tee times, if applicable, etc.

Bookings taken in the clubhouse and online, together

If you club has a good internet link from the clubhouse, you may also offer your members the option to book either in the clubhouse or online from their own homes.
Here, the collection of bookings through Player Entry is linked in real time to the bookings being taken online. A member is given the same chance to book an entry whether they are using the club house computer or at home on their own PC.
Where you wish to give priority booking to entries in the clubhouse (perhaps to maximise bar revenue) and allow unfulfilled entries to be booked at home at a later time, bookings can be opened up to the clubhouse first, and online entries at a later time.

Further information

  1. Be running the WHS-GOLD or LOCAL-GOLD editions of HandicapMaster,
  2. Regularly publish to Master Scoreboard from HandicapMaster, and
  3. Using the Master Scoreboard Control Panel, set up your Master Scoreboard account for players to sign in using individual passwords.
