Update 9.3.48 - 9 February 2021 - Update Package 1148

NEW - Handicap Allowances; Options for using 85% and 95% are added for various competition formats.
AMEND - Display software upgrade message for CONGU editions (Scotland only).
AMEND - Remove references to CONGU in CONGU Unified Handicapping System editions (following cessation of CONGU system on 31st December 2020).
FIX - Unexpected error 438 'Public member 'mailbox_provider' on type 'clsCL_SparkPost_Bounce' not found.'

Update 9.3.47 - 23 October 2020 - Update Package 1147

AMEND - Publish to WHS Platform; Amend facility for customers in England and Wales to publish member's Date of Birth and E-mail address to the WHS Platform to accommodate unexpected interface changes on WHS server (CONGU editions, England and Wales only).
AMEND - Publish to WHS Platform; Add WHS server login credentials for 29 further England and Wales customers.

Update 9.3.46 - 14 October 2020 - Update Package 1146

NEW - Publish to WHS Platform; Customers in England and Wales may now publish member's Date of Birth and E-mail address to the WHS Platform (CONGU editions, England and Wales only).
FIX (Ref. 90560) - 'INTERNAL ERROR; Selected item value (XXXXX) too large' may appear in some cases when editing an away score CSS value.
FIX (Ref. 90561) - Unexpected error 5 ('SqlConnection does not support parallel transactions') may have happened in rare circumstances when undoing a closed competition, and the delete key was pressed multiple times.
FIX (Ref. 90562) - Eclectics; Unexpected Error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') could occur on rare occasions when amending the Eclectic format, if the Finish button was pressed multiple times.
FIX (Ref. 90563) - Player Import; Unexpected Error 5 ('String or binary data would be truncated') may have occurred when the 'METHOD OF SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT' field was too large.

Update 9.3.45 - 18 August 2020 - Update Package 1145

AMEND - Golf Courses (Ireland); 'Smurfit' is renamed as 'Straffan'.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); 'Cowal' is added. 'East Kilbride Sports Club' is renamed as 'Mr James Blackwood'. 'Falkirk' is renamed as 'Falkirk - Carmuirs'. 'King' is renamed as 'Kings'. AMEND - Integration with external Membership System; When using Remote Request Callback 103, Members' Date of Birth and Membership Category will now be updated in HandicapMaster when this data is received from the membership system.
AMEND - Online Score Entry; For Cloud and Hosted edition users, the Online Score Entry wizard is amended to only offer the competition fee deduction option when the Competition Purse has been turned on.
FIX (Ref. 90555) - Master Scoreboard; 'Hidden Holes' competition results reports could not be viewed on Master Scoreboard when generated for team competitions due to error in report data.
FIX (Ref. 90556) - Online Score Entry; Configuration of competitions on the Master Scoreboard website would fail when double-quotes were used in the name of the competition.
FIX (Ref. 90557) - General Bookings; When creating multiple schedules and using a different template for weekend days, some properties such as discount schemes would be taken from the weekday template and used for weekend days in error.
FIX (Ref. 90558) - Publish to CDH (England); Unexpected error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') occurred in one case where the England CDH returned malformed data when publishing scores for players. This did not occur when records for one player at a time were published and therefore the Publish wizard is amended to only send only player's data at a time (CONGU Editions, England only).
FIX (Ref. 90559) - Competition Sign-in; Unexpected error 2601 ('Cannot insert duplicate key row in object') could have occurred when a player signed-in, if they were also signed-in at another PC at a similar time.

Update 9.3.44 - 15 July 2020 - Update Package 1144

NEW - Online Score Entry; For Cloud and Hosted edition users, the option to allow Competition Scores to be entered online is added. New features include (*) Stableford Points displayed on Scorecard, (*) Players may be asked to sign-in online before play, (*) Players will be asked to identify the person who agreed their scores (their 'Marker'), (*) Entrants may be restricted to only those players listed on a Start Sheet, (*) Competition Fees Purse; Entry Fee may be deducted when players sign-in online and (*) No need to 'Import' scores from Master Scoreboard into HandicapMaster. (CONGU Editions only).
AMEND - Golf Courses (England); 'Lancashire Junior Tour' is added.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); 'Brucefield', 'Brucefield Ladies', 'Camperdown' and 'Letham' are deleted.

AMEND - Import from external scoring systems; When importing scores, the matching of players by name is improved where the player has a middle initial in their first name field in HandicapMaster.
FIX (Ref. 90549) - Online Score Entry; Unexpected Error -2147221501 ('Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted') could occur when importing scores from external scoring systems.
FIX (Ref. 90550) - Online Score Entry; On one reported occasion, unexpected error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') occurred importing scores collected through Master Scoreboard.
FIX (Ref. 90551) - Competition Sign-in; On one reported occasion, unexpected error 5 ('Argument 'Number' is not a valid value') occurred after a network error had occurred.
FIX (Ref. 90552) - Eclectics; When adding casual cards to an eclectic, the wrong selection of players to choose from could be displayed, including players without a handicap.
FIX (Ref. 90553) - Online Score Entry; When importing scores from Master Scoreboard, no scores would be imported (interim version 9.3.43 only).
FIX (Ref. 90554) - 'Number of Good Holes Scored' report; The wrong results could be calculated when using more than one set of tees with different Par's.

Update 9.3.43 - 4 July 2020 - Update Package 1143 - Interim Release

AMEND - Import from external scoring system; When importing scores and previous scores or sign-in records exist for the competition, HandicapMaster no longer asks whether to cancel existing scores (making it safer to mix sign-in records with importing scores).
AMEND - Import from external scoring system; When importing scores, only players eligible to play in the competition are matched automatically. Visitors are no longer matched when the competition is a members-only competition. Players without handicaps are no longer matched. 'Past-members' and 'Past-Visitors' are no longer matched.
AMEND - Import from external scoring systems; When importing scores and a player is not matched automatically, and a player is chosen who is not eligible to enter the competition, a warning is now provided.
AMEND - Online Score Entry; When importing scores from Master Scoreboard and previous scores or sign-in records exist for the competition, HandicapMaster no longer asks whether to cancel existing scores (making it safer to mix sign-in records with importing scores).
FIX (Ref. 90547) - Online Score Entry; Unexpected Error 6 ('Not a legal OleAut date') occurred if more than 160 scores were imported from external scoring systems.
FIX (Ref. 90548) - Subscriptions - Direct Debit Extract; Unexpected error 76 (' Could not find a part of the path.') may have occurred when the configured folder for extracts was deleted or renamed.

Update 9.3.42 - 23 June 2020 - Update Package 1142

AMEND - Golf Courses (England); Renamed 'Beadlow Manor' as 'Cainhoe Wood' and 'Rutland County' as 'Woolfox'.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); Added 'Inchmarlo'. Also added in placeholder for club 4115981, where name of club is not listed by the Scottish Golf CDH in their list of clubs, but which the Scottish CDH reports as the home club for at least one player.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Wales); Deleted 'St. Marys'.
AMEND - Publish to CDH; When publishing to the Scottish Golf CDH service, error 74 ('Invalid Player') responses from the CDH to membership status updates are no longer reported to the user (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - 'User-defined Notes' report; The correct column headings are now displayed in the report.
FIX (Ref. 90543) - Match Play Draws; On rare occasions, Unexpected Error 5 ('SqlConnection does not support parallel transactions') could occur when saving entrants for a later draw.
FIX (Ref. 90544) - Online Score Entry; Unexpected Error 6 ('Not a legal OleAut date') occurred if more than 160 scores were imported.
FIX (Ref. 90545) - Online Score Entry; Unexpected error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') could occur when importing scores entered as a short-course round, into an 18-hole competition in HandicapMaster.
FIX (Ref. 90546) - Publish to CDH; In one case, an incoming non-qualifying away score was rejected because the Adjusted Gross Score was reported as 'NR' (CONGU Editions, England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland only).

Update 9.3.41 - 5 June 2020 - Update Package 1141

NEW - General Booking options; Added options to allow organisations to stop receiving copies of confirmation e-mails for member and Visitor General bookings.
NEW - Online Score Entry; For Cloud and Hosted edition users, the option to allow Supplementary Scores to be entered online is added. A new item 'Online Score Entry' is added to the 'Player Entry' section of the Competitions place in HandicapMaster for these users, allowing this option to be configured (CONGU Editions only).
NEW - Online Score Entry; The ability to import scores from the Powerthru Golf scoring app is added.
AMEND - General Bookings; The bookings received report is amended to subscript partner names (where recorded) with '(v)' where the partner is a Visitor.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Ireland); Added 'Maine Valley'. Renamed 'Blackwood' as 'Blackwood and Mahee'. Deleted 'Killorglin'.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); Added in second 'Carnoustie Golf Links'. Renamed 'Kings' as 'King'. Deleted 'Braes'.
AMEND - Online Score Entry; When importing scores for a competition where score entry is restricted to a Start Sheet, HandicapMaster prompts for confirmation before importing a score for a player who is not on the Start Sheet.
FIX (Ref. 90538) - Integration with external Membership Systems; When using the 'Remote Requests' interface, and the external system sent a membership category name too long for the HandicapMaster database field, multiple, truncated, entries were created in the HandicapMaster database in error (Premier and Network editions).
FIX (Ref. 90539) - Competitions; When undoing a closed competition that had online score entry enabled it was possible to re-enable online score entry without specifically setting the option in the competition configuration wizard.
FIX (Ref. 90540) - Calendar; When clicking a link to an opened competition, the correct competition was not always opened.
FIX (Ref. 90541) - Tee Sheet Bookings; When linking a new Tee Sheet to Competition Booking Templates, Unexpected Error 13 (Conversion from string '' to type 'Integer' is not valid) could occur if there were no existing templates.
FIX (Ref. 90542) - Online Score Entry; When importing scores from the ClubNet Phone Scoring App, scores would not be imported where holes being played were not the first holes on the scorecard (e.g. back-nine holes).

Update 9.3.40 - 5 May 2020 - Update Package 1140

NEW - Master Scoreboard; You may now create notices to your members onto the Master Scoreboard website through the HandicapMaster program, without logging into the Master Scoreboard Control Panel. A 'Master Scoreboard' section is added to the 'Players' place in HandicapMaster.
NEW - Reports; A new E-mail Summary report is added to display a count of e-mails sent by date.
NEW - Subscription option; In subscription templates a new 'Adjust First or Last Value' option to adjust payment values is added.
AMEND - Bookings and Start Sheets; References to 'competition' is removed from Bookings report and Start Sheet report where competition includes 'Tee Sheet' in its name.
AMEND - Bookings; When moving a player's booking and when the selected slot is for the same player display a suitable message.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); Renamed 'Kilmacolm' as 'The Kilmacolm'.
AMEND - Import scores from Master Scoreboard; After importing scores the 'Time Score Entered' shown in Analyse Scores Entered list now reflects the time the score was entered through Master Scoreboard (not the time the score was imported).
AMEND - Import scores from Master Scoreboard; After importing scores, the Analyse Scores Entered list is displayed.
AMEND - Import scores from Master Scoreboard; When importing, any existing Start Sheet for the competition is no longer lost.

FIX (Ref. 90536) - Online Score Entry; In some situations, when importing scores from the ClubNet Phone Scoring App, only one player's score would be imported.
FIX (Ref. 90537) - Opened Competitions; In some situations, when configured to import scores from the ClubNet phone scoring app or Golf Genius phone scoring app, the option to enable scoring online was offered when opening or reconfiguring competitions, in error.

Update 9.3.39 - 26 March 2020 - Update Package 1139

NEW - Import scores from Master Scoreboard; You may now allow players to enter their competition scores (for singles competitions) through the Master Scoreboard website, avoiding the use of Touchscreens or other score entry kiosks.
NEW - Import scores from external system; In the Premier and Network editions, you may now choose to import scores entered into the ClubNet system into a competition opened in HandicapMaster.
FIX (Ref. 90535) - Publish to CDH and Golfnet: 'Node <response-body> missing from data received from CDH' could be reported when publishing or looking up a players' handicap if the ID was not located on the CDH or Golfnet server. (CONGU editions, Wales and Ireland only).

Update 9.3.38 - 18 March 2020 - Update Package 1138

AMEND - Publish to CDH; Cancel removal of invalid CDH numbers from players when publishing, as this was deleting all England and Wales ID's due to a late amendment to the CDH service by Scottish Golf's developers just as the previous build was released (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).

Update 9.3.37 - 18 March 2020 - Update Package 1137

AMEND - Player Export; Added the name of the Subscription template assigned to the member or past member. (Subscriptions option).
AMEND - Removed reference to BookGolf365 booking service which is no longer available.
FIX (Ref. 90534) - Competition Bookings - Reserve List; The Booking Template option to use the Reserve List was ignored when creating the booking arrangements.

Update 9.3.36 - 11 March 2020 - Update Package 1136 - Interim Release

AMEND - Bookings; When viewing the booking sheet for a competition in HandicapMaster in 'list' view, you may now access a right-click context menu to achieve specific tasks.
AMEND - Bookings; When viewing the booking sheet for a competition in HandicapMaster, the number of players booked into the competition is now displayed in the heading above the sheet.
AMEND - Fixtures Report; When sending this report out by email, you may now save and edit default text for the body of the covering email.
AMEND - Golf Courses (England); Added 'Merley Park', 'Northern Junior Golf Tour', 'Northwest Manchester Golf Alliance' and 'UK Am Golf Tour'. Deleted existing entry for 'Isle of Wight Golf Alliance' and replace with two new entries.
AMEND - Publish to CDH; Accommodate a change in the error code being received from the CDH when a player is set to Pending status, to avoid unnecessary screen messages (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - Publish to CDH; Avoid Unexpected Error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') when Scottish CDH service fails to respond with any 'Response-header' information in its response to HandicapMaster (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - Publish to CDH; Facilities to access the Scottish CDH are re-enabled (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - Publish to CDH; Slow down the sending records to the CDH to accommodate limitations of CDH server (i.e. send player's records one player at a time) (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - Remote Requests; Added some alternative XML tags for telephone and e-mail address data to allow a specific 3rd party membership application to send this type of data using the alternative tags.
FIX (Ref. 90527) - Bookings; 'Booking Reference unknown' error would occur when moving a player to a new slot on the Booking Sheet through the HandicapMaster program.
FIX (Ref. 90528) - Bookings; When viewing the booking sheet for a competition in HandicapMaster in 'list' view, the view would switch to 'sheet' layout in error after refreshing the list or performing other actions.
FIX (Ref. 90529) - Find a Player on CDH; Scottish CDH changed the way it sends players' handicap details, when a request to look up players by name is sent. This response is no longer consistent with the previous CDH or any other Home Nation current CDH. This caused HandicapMaster to interpret a response listing a single player as an empty list, in error (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
FIX (Ref. 90530) - CONGU and Society Handicap Records; Entries for Away scores (Regular Stroke Play and Maximum Score formats) did not always show the player's gross score, when viewing the player's Handicap Record.
FIX (Ref. 90531) - Course Scorecards; In one rare case, Unexpected Error 13 ('Unable to cast object of type 'System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripSeparator' to type 'System.Windows.Forms.ToolStripMenuItem'') occurred when viewing a problem course scorecard being reported as 'Unknown Tees'.
FIX (Ref. 90532) - Publish to CDH; Incoming Regular Stroke-play or Maximum Score format away scores were treated as unsafe, in error, when the adjusted gross score reported was below 100 (CONGU editions, England, Wales and Ireland).
FIX (Ref. 90533) - Course Scorecards; When editing a Course Scorecard and the cursor was displayed in one of the Course Ratings boxes, if a Par or Stroke Index box on any hole was clicked with the mouse, the cursor returned to the Course Ratings box after the selected value was updated in error.

FIX (Ref. 90526) - Publish to CDH; In rare cases, Unexpected error 5 ('Requested Clipboard operation did not succeed') occurred publishing to the CDH using build 9.3.34 (CONGU editions).

Update 9.3.34 - 18 February 2020 - Update Package 1134

NEW - Bookings; You may now elect to operate a Reserves List for a competition where the bookings sheet has become full, for members (only), Singles competitions. Players who add their name to the reserves list will automatically be promoted onto the booking sheet when a free slot become available. The player who has been on the reserves list for the longest time is considered first on the list.
AMEND - CDH (Scotland); Option to look up a player's record from the CDH is resumed, following the CDH outage in Scotland. 'Find a Player on CDH', 'Update Visitors from CDH' and visitor 'Look up Player Details' options are now operational again (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
AMEND - Golf Courses (England); 'Leeds Castle' is added. 'Bolton Ladies Golf (Assn)' is renamed as 'Bolton Ladies Championship'. 'European Amateur Tour Golf' is renamed as 'Staysure Amateur Tour Golf'. 'Humberside Fire And Rescue Golf Society' is replaced with 'Firesport UK Golf Section'. AMEND - Housekeeping; The time taken for the housekeeping of Voided transactions has been significantly reduced. (Subscriptions option).
AMEND - Options; If the option to 'Never Publish to CDH' is selected, HandicapMaster will now prompt to ask if this setting is to be applied to all users.
AMEND - Publish to BRS Online Tee Booking; After successfully sending membership data to the BRS server, a confirmation message is now displayed on screen.
FIX (Ref. 90523) - Error -2147221503 'Invalid use of Null (Query -420, Column 'TIE_NETT')' may have happened in very rare circumstances when viewing results of an historic team competition.
FIX (Ref. 90524) - Open Bookings; Where a visiting player had booked more than once into the same competition, all entries for the player were removed in error when cancelling one of the entries.
FIX (Ref. 90525) - Course Scorecards; It was not possible to enter the Course Rating of a course where the local regional settings use a comma as the decimal number separator.

Update 9.3.33 - 9 January 2020 - Update Package 1133

AMEND - England Golf Women's Medals Report; Winner report is extended to include Standard Scratch Score and Differentials values for the player's leading scores (CONGU editions, England only).
AMEND - Golf Courses (England); 'Northern Counties (Golf Union)' is added and 'Anderida Golfers' is renamed 'Ashdown Golfers'.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Scotland); 'Braes' is added.
AMEND - Publish to CDH; Following the sudden and unannounced closure of the Scottish CDH by Scottish Golf Limited, facilities to access the Scottish CDH are disabled (CONGU Editions, Scotland only).
FIX (Ref. 90520) - Competition Purse Historic Balance Report; Report could incorrectly report members' Historic Balance as zero in error when they had no purse transactions remaining in the database (Subscriptions option).
FIX (Ref. 90521) - Competition Purse Historic Balance Report; Report could incorrectly report members' Historic Balance where members most recent entries on their statement included multiple entries logged at the same time (Subscriptions option).
FIX (Ref. 90522) - Open Competition Bookings; Unexpected Error 6 ('Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow') could occur when viewing bookings where Visitors had booked into the competition via Master Scoreboard (Open Competition Bookings option only).

Update 9.3.32 - 13 December 2019 - Update Package 1132

AMEND - Player Entry Messages are now available in Society Network Cloud editions of HandicapMaster.
FIX - (Ref. 90518) - Letters; When creating letter text, a < character inserted on its own may be misinterpreted as the start of a field token and the letter may not have been generated.
FIX - (Ref. 90519) - Edit Member; When setting a Player's password on Master Scoreboard the message ' You do not have an ID and Passcode configured for connection to Master Scoreboard.' was displayed in error, preventing a password being set.

Update 9.3.31 - 11 December 2019 - Update Package 1131

NEW - It is now possible to make a balance adjustment for a past member's competition purse. (Subscriptions Option only).
AMEND - Closed Competitions report; This now includes the number of members and visitor in each competition for the selected date range. Note the time taken for this report to run has increased due to the extra data being processed to obtain the breakdown of member and visitors.
AMEND - Golf Courses (Egypt); Added 'Sokhna', 'Newgiza', 'The Cascades', 'Stella Di Marie Sokhna', 'Porto Marina', 'Steigenbeger Al Dau' and 'Stella Di Mare Sharm'

AMEND - Player Import; When an invalid e-mail address is detected, you may continue the import but without the e-mail address being imported.
AMEND - Start sheets; When doing a random re-ordering of the start sheet for team competitions an option is added limit the re-ordering of players to swapping teams around. This option was already available for pairs competitions.
AMEND - Subscriptions option; The option to generate address labels from a distribution list is now included in the Subscriptions option as well as already being included in PREMIER and NETWORK editions. So, users of CLUB edition with the Subscription option may now generate address labels from distribution lists.
AMEND - The Scorecard and custom start sheet label designer window may now be resized to allow for larger label sizes, or score cards.
FIX (Ref. 90514) - Society Handicapping; Players' handicaps could reset to close to zero, in error, when full records from a CONGU handicapping edition were used and they contained 'Initial Handicap Cards' (Society editions only).
FIX (Ref. 90515) - Edit Member; The facility to set a member's Master Scoreboard password may have indicated that a password was invalid in error, and did not allow the password to be set. (Cloud and Hosted editions only).
FIX (Ref. 90516) - Accounting; Unexpected Error 5 'The specified field START_DATE could refer to more than one table...' occurred when exporting Subscriptions or Invoices with the option to limit the export to the current accounting year (Subscriptions option only).
FIX (Ref. 90517) - Start Sheet Labels; In a Texas Scramble, the wrong Strokes Received for a team could be printed to the label where a team of three was entered onto the start sheet with a gap in places 1, 2 or 3.

Update 9.3.30 - 5 November 2019 - Update Package 1130

AMEND - Allocate Handicap; Security is added when allocating a player's handicap following the recording of Initial Handicap Cards. Users now require Handicapping 'Update' access to complete this function (CONGU editions only).
AMEND - Bookings; FIX (Ref. 90502) is amended to pre-set the option according to the current settings for the competition (Premier and Network editions).
AMEND - Bookings; Society Network Cloud Edition may now link to external booking systems.
AMEND - Competition Configuration; The description of bookings settings for Multiple Tee ('Shotgun') starts is improved (Premier and Network editions).
AMEND - Corrected a typographical error on Order of Merit and Best of Series reports.
AMEND - Edit Member; It is no longer possible to enter future dates for a member's Date of Birth.

This is to enable a player's record to be updated on the CDH, rather than being rejected by the CDH. The players handicap record in HandicapMaster will contain the un-amended values. FIX (Ref. 90427) - Configure Competition; It was possible to set first and second choice of Tee colours to be the same colour (thereby reducing the competition to a 'single Tee' competition) after one or more players had signed in or entered scores using the second choice of Tees, causing problems processing the scores for these players.
FIX (Ref. 90428) - Player Entry; In some cases, the Player Entry configuration option 'Add visitors to system from CDH when their National ID is entered' (England, Scotland and Wales) or 'Add visitors to system, using Golfnet when their Golfnet number is entered' (Ireland) was not displayed as being set.
