• AMEND - Change name from 'Golf Union of Wales' to 'Wales Golf'.
• AMEND - CONGU Annual Review; Include players in report whose Performance against Target suggests a handicap reduction even though their finish handicap was higher than their starting handicap. Likewise, include players whose Performance against Target suggests a handicap increase even though their finish handicap was lower than their starting handicap. Remove players from suggested reduction where Performance against Target was -3 to -5 where they have returned less than 7 qualifying scores (CONGU Editions).
• AMEND - Golf Courses (England); 'Alnwick' is renamed to 'Alnwick Castle' and 'Stonyholme' to 'Stony Holme'.

This may be helpful during the winter season if a copy of a club's database is being used for winter league competitions to prevent accidental publishing to CDH systems. • AMEND - Player Entry callback 34,35,45,46,57,58,72 and 73. Display error message if Competition Fee overdraft value is not a valid currency, and turn off fee deduction (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90194) - Address labels; Unexpected error 5 ('String '' is not a valid value for structure 'Unit'') occurred when printing address labels and the selected paper size is A4 page Continuous Roll. (Premier and Network Editions)
• FIX (Ref. 90195) - When closing HandicapMaster and where then user's access permissions prevents 'Publishing to the Internet' the user may have incorrectly been prompted to 'Publish to the Internet'. (CONGU Premier and Network Editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90196) - Subscriptions option; The 'Member Purse Account statement' report, when VAT was not enabled reported incorrect balance details.
• FIX (Ref. 90197) - CONGU Handicap Records; When receiving away scores for 'Open' competitions through a CDH (inc. Golfnet), the third letter of the CONGU Identifier was being recorded as 'A', rather than preserving the letter as 'O' (CONGU editions, England Scotland, Wales and Ireland only).
• FIX (Ref. 90198) - Online Bookings; When amending online booking configuration from a time zone other than GMT, the start and end times for the booking window were not correctly taking account of the local time zone.
• FIX (Ref. 90199) - Match Play Knock Out Draw; Players' names could be displayed truncated in the left-most column of the draw sheet.

• AMEND - Improved Fix 90186 to cope with a wider range of files.
• FIX (Ref. 90191) - General Bookings; Attempting to record a booking for a time slot reserved for a competition resulted in an Unexpected Error -2147221501 ('Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted').
• FIX (Ref. 90192) - Reports; Where a paragraph left or right indentation value greater than zero was used, the text may not have displayed correctly and been truncated.
• FIX (Ref. 90193) - Eclectics; Under some circumstances, HandicapMaster would not respond for some minutes before failing with unexpected error 5 ('Timeout Expired') when generating the results of an Eclectic competition.

Update 9.1.18 - 23 August 2017

• FIX (Ref. 90189) - Cancel Opened Competition; It was not possible to cancel an opened competition unless booking arrangements had been created for the competition.
• FIX (Ref. 90190) - Configure Competition; When re-configuring an opened competition, the wrong information was displayed on the 'Bookings' tab.

• AMEND - Competition Bookings; Reduce screen messages and improve user experience when connection problems interfere with competition bookings processing (Premier and Network Editions).
• AMEND - Competition Bookings; When viewing Bookings for a competition in HandicapMaster and a connection error occurred, the User is no longer asked whether they would like to create new booking arrangements for the competition (Premier and Network Editions).

• FIX (Ref. 90181) - Scorecard Labels Configuration; Position of items on scorecard labels were misplaced in the labels designer when screen scaling setting in Windows was greater than 100%.
• FIX (Ref. 90182) - Order of Merit; With Order of Merits that award points 'Where players finish in competitions' and also 'Use overall results for Multiple round or Alternative Day competitions', points were not awarded to players who did not return a scorecard in the first round of Multiple Round competitions (but were placed in the competition results due to their scores returned in later rounds).
• FIX (Ref. 90183) - Opened Competitions; When reconfiguring an opened competition aggregated to other competition(s), a recalculation of scores could occur unnecessarily after OK button clicked.
• FIX (Ref. 90184) - Unexpected error 13 '(Conversion from string '......' to type 'Integer' is not valid.)' may have occurred when displaying some reports or reports of lists where the title of the report contained a '%' symbol.
• FIX (Ref. 90185) - Bookings; The booking start and end time on the list of competitions under the 'Bookings' place displayed incorrectly when HandicapMaster was being used in a time zone other than 'GMT Standard Time'.
• FIX (Ref. 90186) - Unexpected error 57 '(The process cannot access the file 'C:\.....fileinfo.txt' because it is being used by another process)' sometimes occurred when starting HandicapMaster.
• FIX (Ref. 90187) - Ladies Medal; Removing a closed competition from the Ladies Medal incorrectly set the SSS to 0, causing errors when uploading records to the CDH/Golfnet (CONGU Editions only)
• FIX (Ref. 90188) - Competition Purse Account Statement report displayed incorrect 'At a Glance' information when 'All Members' was selected. (Subscriptions option).

• FIX (Ref. 90176) - Multi-round Competitions with Divisions; If a player's handicap changed across a Division boundary between rounds and the player did not play in the first round, the player's Division was not maintained throughout the competition and the overall results were displayed incorrectly.
• FIX (Ref. 90177) - CONGU Handicap Adjustment; In rare situations, after a player had elected to reduce their handicap at score entry time (CONGU Clause 20.11) through Player Entry for a Medal competition, the wrong CONGU Clause 19 Adjusted Gross Score could be calculated for the players' score when the competition was closed (CONGU Editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90178) - Membership Load; Remote Request 94 synchronising of membership records was not functioning (Network editions only).

• FIX (Ref. 90167) - Send Diagnostic Files to Support; Unexpected error 5 ('InvalidArgument=Value of '-1' is not valid for 'index'') would occur if no computer selected when sending diagnostic files to HandicapMaster support.
• FIX (Ref. 90168) - Handicap Range Report; Unexpected error 5 ('Incorrect syntax near ')'') may have occurred in rare cases.
• FIX (Ref. 90169) - Enter Scores; Hole 9 was not being greyed out on screen when this hole was not in play for a competition.
• FIX (Ref. 90170) - Publish to CDH; In some circumstances, a player who had recently been allocated a first handicap award did not have their handicap, and handicap record, published to the CDH (Inc. Golfnet) (CONGU Editions, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland).
• FIX (Ref. 90171) - Recording Society Scores; When option to apply a General Play adjustment as a result of a non-qualifying Society score was selected, the handicap adjustment was not always immediately applied, especially when the Society score was entered out of chronological order (CONGU editions, Ireland only).
• FIX (Ref. 90172) - Player Entry; When using Callback 34 or 35 the member's balance was not displayed when the option to display the balance was selected.
• FIX (Ref. 90173) - Supplementary Scores; Where a player has signed in to record a Supplementary Score through Player Entry, but not entered their score, and the Supplementary Score is accepted in to the player's handicap record, the entry in the handicap record for the player was corrupted (e.g. by showing 999 in the 'Stab Adjust 19.1' column) (CONGU Editions only).

• AMEND - Bookings wizards; Wording on pages showing list of tee times is simplified for improved readability.
• AMEND - Competition Bookings Templates; Improve the validation of the start and end date of the booking period to prevent unnecessary message.
• AMEND - Edit Member; When saving a membership record where a Golfnet number has been entered but no handicap, the option to look up the last-known handicap of a player from Golfnet is withdrawn. This is due to the way player numbers are allocated through Golfnet (CONGU Editions, Ireland only).
• AMEND - EGA Handicap System; For customers affiliated to the French Golf Federation the handicap calculations in HandicapMaster are modified to operate the 'EGA Handicap System Configuration 3'.

• FIX (Ref. 90159) - Recording Society Scores; When option to apply a General Play adjustment as a result of a non-qualifying Society score was selected, the handicap adjustment was not applied to the player's record (CONGU editions, Ireland only).
• FIX (Ref. 90160) - Nine hole non-qualifying team competitions; The playing handicap displayed on the start sheet report and start sheet labels did not match the score card. (EGA editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90161) - Order of Merit; When printing a breakdown of players' scores, Unexpected Error 5 (Cannot resolve the collation conflict between 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS' and 'Latin1_General_CI_AS') could occur. (Network and Hosted Editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90162) - Player Entry; When booking into a future competition that was configured to offer players a choice of tees to play from, players were being asked to choose their tees when placing the booking, in error (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90163) - Initial Handicap Cards; When recording initial handicap cards, including some 9-hole cards, HandicapMaster could prevent further cards being entered beyond 54 holes, whilst confirming more cards were needed to award the handicap, in error. (CONGU editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90164) - Match-play Knockout Draws; When changing a 'bye' to a new team in an existing pairs Knockout draw, a player from the other team could be substituted for the second player in the new team in error.
• FIX (Ref. 90165) - ClubWebsite; When amending the text of a 'Text alongside a Picture' item, Unexpected Error 53 occurred if the image file was not reselected.

Update 9.1.13 - 19 April 2017

• NEW - Edit Member; When saving a membership record where a CDH or Golfnet number has been entered, but no handicap, you will now be asked whether you would like to look up the last-known handicap of the player from the CDH or Golfnet. You may elect to use this handicap for the player. CONGU Editions (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland only).
• NEW - Mobile telephone number is now included in the 'All Members', 'Away Members', 'Members without Handicaps' lists, and also included in 'Member' distribution lists.
• NEW - Start Sheet Report; The option to include the player's Membership Number is added.
• AMEND - Apply Scores; The time required to close a competition is reduced, by improving the calculation of count-back scores and the calculation of where players finish in competitions.
• AMEND - Competition Scoring Analysis report; When running this report from the 'Reports' place so as to include multiple competitions in the analysis, the 'Competitions to analyse . . . ' option 'All singles competitions dated' now allows dates prior to 1st January 2016 to be selected.
• AMEND - Golf Courses (England); Added 'Birmingham & District (Alliance)', 'European Junior Golf Tour', 'U.S Kids Golf European Championships' and 'Wee Wonders Grand Final'. Renamed 'Mid Yorkshire' to 'Darrington', 'Mark Butler Golf Acedemy' to 'Sedgley' and 'Traditions' to 'Twisted Stone'.
• AMEND - Golf Courses; Added list of Dutch courses.
• AMEND - Officer Contact Summary report: Now includes mobile and all other of the officer's telephone numbers.
• AMEND - Summary of Scores report; The time taken to generate the report is reduced.
• FIX (Ref. 90150) - Group Bookings; When trying to email a Confirmation of Reservation report, error message 'Error creating temporary files: ?.pdf' could occur. (Premier and Network Editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90151) - Apply Scores; When closing multiple-round singles competitions played in divisions, users were unnecessarily prompted to select winners from ties when there was no tie and only one player held the best score.
• FIX (Ref. 90152) - Apply Scores; When a player on a Start Sheet had not signed in or entered a score and was converted to 'No Score Returned' when applying scores, the player was not listed on the Results Report if the competition allowed players with Club or Non-Competition Handicaps to enter but not win prizes. (Non-hosted Network Edition only).
• FIX (Ref. 90153) - ClubWebsite; When updating Settings, links to Facebook and Twitter were disabled on the website.
• FIX (Ref. 90154) - Unexpected error -2147221501 ('Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted') may have occurred under rare circumstances when two users tried to undo the same competition at almost the same time.

Update 9.1.12 - 21 March 2017

• FIX (Ref. 90149) – Apply Scores; Unexpected Error 5 (' Value of '-1' is not valid for 'Maximum'') occurred when closing a competition where players with non-competition handicaps were configured to be eligible to play but not win prizes and no such players returned scores (CONGU editions only).

Update 9.1.11 - 21 March 2017

• NEW - ClubWebsite; When adding pictures to the website, you may now rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise to overcome any orientation issues. When adding pictures to a Picture Carousel, you may 'flip' the pictures vertically or horizontally, if required.
• NEW - Distribution Lists; A new 'Group Bookings' Distribution list has been added. This allows clubs to contact by e-mail organisations that have made Group Bookings.
• NEW - Match Play Knock Outs; When performing a General Numerical draw, you may now elect to 'seed' only the leading players in the entrants list, whilst randomising the position of the remaining players in the draw. In effect, you may now complete a 'partial' General Numerical draw.
• NEW - Match Play Knock Outs; You may now choose to set the default paper size for the KO Draw report to be any paper size of 'A0' through to 'A4'. When you choose one of the larger settings ('A0', 'A1' or 'A2'), the chart is generated in portrait orientation.
• AMEND - Apply Scores; Some unnecessary processing being performed when calculating where players finished in a competition is removed, reducing the time to close a competition. This unnecessary processing was occurring for all competitions, across all editions, (except when processing competitions where players with non-competition handicaps were allowed to enter but not win prizes in the CONGU edition).
• AMEND - E-mail; The E-mail Recipient window now displays the type of distribution list alongside the name of the distribution list.
• AMEND - General Bookings; Where times are reserved for Groups in the Tee Sheet schedule, the organisation name of the Group is now displayed in the bookings schedule and included in the Bookings report (Premier and Network editions only).
• AMEND - Golf Courses (England); Added 'Isle of Wight', 'Libbaton Artisan' and 'Thorpe Wood Fit and Ancient (Society)'. Added national number for 'Norton Bridge'. Deleted 'Izaak Walton'.
• AMEND - Golf Courses (Wales); Added 'Monmouthshire Ladies (County Assn)' (2nd entry).
• AMEND - Integration with external Membership System; When membership details are being received from an external membership system, any double-quote characters are now converted to single-quotes upon receipt from the external system (Premier and Network editions only).
• AMEND - Subscriptions Option; The export of accounting data now contains the Membership Category of the member, their Age Group and their gender. This will allow for easier processing of the export files in a spreadsheet.
• AMEND - Subscriptions option; Improve the 'Recalculate Competition Purse Balance' facility to now take account of imported balance adjustments, to ignore previous balance corrections and take account when the first transaction in the sequence was refunded.
• FIX (Ref. 90137) - Subscriptions option; Raise Subscriptions, when the option to include the member's subscription account balance was selected and the account balance was zero, an extra payment for zero amount was created.
• FIX (Ref. 90138) - Subscriptions option; When importing Competition Purse balance adjustments an incorrect Competition Purse running balance for members was set.
• FIX (Ref. 90139) - Subscriptions option; Competition Purse Income received report was displaying an incorrect balance when there were refunded competition fees.
• FIX (Ref. 90140) - Export; When exporting a list of group bookings organisers, group bookings recorded with no organiser details were included in the list in error (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90141) - Open Competition Booking; When a visitor books using the same name and home club as a member at the home club, and books more than once into the same competition, their name is not imported back into HandicapMaster successfully when the entries for the competition are viewed in HandicapMaster (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90142) - Unexpected Error 9 ('Index was outside the bounds of the array') could occur when finding a player on CDH and looking up a player by name, as it was possible to attempt to add a player without selecting a player from the list (CONGU Editions - Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland only).
• FIX (Ref. 90143) - Export; When exporting a list of players to CSV file, the data within the CSV file could become corrupted by the presence of double-quotes in the player's data.
• FIX (Ref. 90144) - Order of Merit; Unexpected error 6 ('Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow') could occur adding competitions to an Order of Merit in rare circumstances with heavily used systems.
• FIX (Ref. 90145) - Group Bookings; When creating a copy of a Group Booking, Tee Times in a General Bookings tee sheet were not automatically reserved for the Group Booking copy (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90146) - ClubWebsite; Some symbols e.g. currency symbols were incorrectly saved when editing a Notice.
• FIX (Ref. 90147) - Publish to CDH; Where a player had their Handicap status manually changed (e.g. 'Non-competition' to 'Competition' due to illness) this change in status was not published to the CDH until the next handicap record event was recorded for the player. • FIX (Ref. 90148) - Unexpected Error 13 ('Conversion from string 'ddd dd MMMMM hh:mm:ss' to type 'Date' is not valid.') occurred when opening a new competition and a custom short date format of 'ddd dd MMMM' had been configured in Windows.

Update 9.1.10 - 2 March 2017 - Interim Release

• NEW - Group Bookings; Report 'Forthcoming Group Bookings' is retitled 'Forthcoming Group Bookings (Summary)' and a new report 'Forthcoming Group Bookings (Detailed)' is added. This new report lists Group Bookings in more detail (Premier and Network editions).
• AMEND - Calendar; When viewing a Group Booking or Calendar Note through the Calendar, the system now remembers if you resize the information window displayed when the entry in the Calendar is clicked (Premier and Network editions).
• AMEND - Calendar; When viewing a Group Booking through the Calendar, any notes recorded against the Group Booking are now displayed on the information window displayed when the entry in the Calendar is clicked (Premier and Network editions).
• AMEND - Golf Courses (England); Added 'Greys Green'.
• FIX (Ref. 90136) - Player Entry; When booking into future competitions unexpected error 91 ('Object reference not set to an instance of an object') occurred (Premier and Network editions).

• FIX (Ref. 90132) - Handicap Suspension; It was possible to issue a handicap suspension to players who had not been awarded a handicap, in error (CONGU Editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90133) - When booking in using Player Entry only, and a player subsequently cancelled their booking using Player Entry, a second competition fee was deducted (only when competition fees at time of booking are being deducted) (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90134) - Apply Scores; When closing an aggregated singles competition with automatic countback resolution of ties turned off, the user was not being given the opportunity to manually resolve ties for the aggregated results when the competition results were configured to be split into Divisions.
• FIX (Ref. 90135) - Publish to CDH; Unexpected error 6 ('Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow') could occur when acknowledging the list of away members who have had their handicap updated from the CDH (CONGU editions only).

• FIX (Ref. 90125) - Unexpected error 5 ('Column 'PURSE_2' does not belong to table MyDataset.') occurred after restoring a HandicapMaster backup file taken using HandicapMaster version 7.
• FIX (Ref. 90126) - General Bookings; Unexpected error -2147221501 ('Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted') occurred when Times 'Add to Start' or 'Add to End' option was selected and all existing times had been previously deleted from a General Bookings template (Premier and Network editions only).
• FIX (Ref. 90127) - General Bookings; Using a General Bookings template with a time for customers to book of Midnight caused 'Failed to get information from Master Scoreboard web site' and other associated errors to occur and the schedule to not be configured (Premier and Network editions only).
