Ireland National Database (GOLFnet)
- Processing for Away scores received from the Ireland Central Database of
Handicaps (GOLFnet) is rewritten. HandicapMaster now displays the data for
each incoming Away score and prompts the User to either apply the score to the
database or ignore the score.
Where there are obvious errors in the data received, or where insufficient data is provided, HandicapMaster now 'Blocks' the score from being applied to the database. This prevents incorrect data from corrupting handicap records (Club Edition Only).

Membership Import
- Default values for various fields are added. HandicapMaster now treats a
blank field as a default value rather than rejecting the imported record.
Various documentation corrections and updates made to list of Import fields.
Ireland National Database (GOLFnet)
- The Connect to National Server option is updated to operate using a separate
GOLFnet server account for sending handicap records and receiving Away
records. This is to reflect a change made by the GOLFnet administrators
(Club Edition only).

Multiple Round Competitions
- HandicapMaster now processes 'overall' positions in a multiple round
competition whether or not the final round is entered.
Start Sheets
- HandicapMaster may now create a Start Sheet for a forthcoming round of a
Multiple Round Competition. The Start Sheet may be 'seeded' using players from
the ongoing competition. Players may be ordered with 'Leaders out First' or
'Leaders out Last' (based on either Nett or Gross scores when the ongoing
competition is a Stroke-play competition). The players 'seeded' into the Start
Sheet may be limited to leading players only (such as when a halfway cut in
the competition field is made). This Start Sheet may only be created when
there is a Multiple-round competition underway (the final round has not been
entered) and the name of this competition is selected for the Start Sheet.
Start Sheets
- A number of general improvements are included. These are
- 'Group' and 'Match' Terminology changed to 'Game'
- Time for start of first Game changed to 24 hour clock
- Spin button controls added to some fields.
- A help button added to the Start Sheets Window.
Competition Reports
now truncate Christian Names to first character only where Christian Names
exceed 8 characters. This is to reduce the likelihood of a player's Surname
being truncated when the player's name is too wide for the report column.
Additional Recovery from error -450 reading Gemplus Terminal is added.

An updated list of Golf Courses in England is available and will be loaded
into HandicapMaster on first run of this build.

Competition Results
- Option 'Competition Results (Gross Scores Only)' is removed from the
Competition Reports menu and from the View Competition Results button list.
The 'Annotate Report' check box is removed from the toolbar above the Events
list. In their place, a new View Competition Results window is added,
displayed when View Competition Results menu option or Toolbar button is
chosen. The new window displays a list of available results reports that can
be offered, but only those that relate to the specific competition selected.
The list may be made up of Single round results, Multiple round results,
Aggregate results, Best-of Series results, Nett scores, Gross Scores, etc.
Best-of Series Report
– For Singles Stroke-play series, the Best-of Series results may be displayed
using Gross Scores in addition to Nett Scores, if required. An option to
display player’s Home Clubs is added. It is now possible to add Notes
(freeform text) to Best-of Series reports. An additional Title line is added
to the report.
Some cosmetic tidying of forms and improved Tab key ordering is completed.

New Member
- If adding a New Member is blocked by the existence of a previous (deleted)
member with the same name, HandicapMaster will rename the deleted member
(allowing the New Member to be added).
Away Competition Score/LGU Extra Day Score/LGU Handicap Score
- These windows are redesigned to better match layout standards employed in
HandicapMaster.
Away Competition Score
– Option to enter scores from competitions that were NOT handicap qualifiers
is added.
Club Edition - Provision for processing
Ireland GOLFnet Away Handicap Recordsreceived by e-mail is added.

Competition Score Entry
- Support for CHERRY Keypad G80-3700 is added. Whether 'last score entered'
may be cancelled from score entry window is now optional. Users may now
restart the leader board (from the top), without exiting the leader board
display.
Membership Export
- Option to export 'All Visitors' is added.
Membership Import
- Option to import Visitor records (I.e. Non-members) is added.
Club Edition
- Auto-registration of players to HandicapMaster database when entering
competition scores using their GOLFnet cards is added. If the GOLFnet card
number is unknown to HandicapMaster when the player inserts his card, a
membership record will automatically be added to HandicapMaster. If the card
is recognised as one at the Home Club, the player is added as a member. If the
card is recognised as one from an alternative club, the player is added as a
'Visitor'.
Club Edition
- Option to restart a player's handicap record when they change Home Club is
added. This is recommended due to differences in the way HOME and AWAY records
are processed (since AWAY records are often incomplete by their nature).
Society Edition
– Option to run 9 hole singles competitions as Handicap Qualifiers is added.
Order of Merit
- This has been removed
from the main HandicapMaster program.

- Option to allocate points based on the number of Stableford Points scored (rather than position in Competition),
- Option to award Appearance Points to players when they play in an Order of Merit competition
- Players in the Order of Merit may now be separated into Divisions
- Option to exclude players who no longer are members (or who have had their handicap lapsed)
- Option to share available points where two or more players tie in the same position in the competitions
- Option to award Order of Merit points on the overall result of a Multiple Round or Alternate Day competition
- Option to add notes to the Order of Merit report
- Points may now be awarded up to 1,000,000 per place in competition.
