Build 7.1.13 - Package 209 - (9 January 2008)

  • AMEND - CONGU Supplementary Scores window; The "course played" box has been widened to allow long course names to be read.

  • AMEND - Apply Scores Wizard; DQ reason 6-2b amended on screen to clarify missing as well as too high Handicap as a reason.

  • AMEND - Eclectic Competitions; Report amended to show Gross Eclectic totals, Handicap and nett totals as separate columns in report.

  • FIX - Bogey/Par Competitions; Apply Scores wizard was incorrectly awarding a halved hole in the situation that a No Return was recorded for a hole.

  • FIX - EGA Editions; Unexpected error 5 ("Invalid Procedure Call or Argument") could occur entering Course details when running HandicapMaster on Windows with non-UK regional settings. Also, Course ratings other than whole numbers were not recognised and could not be entered on systems with non-UK regional settings.

  • FIX - Competition Scoring Analysis; Report did not display OUT, IN and TOTAL average scores as 9 or 18 hole totals.

  • FIX - Configure Player Entry wizard; Unexpected Error 80004005 ("Automation Error") occurred running this wizard (all editions except Network edition).

Build 7.1.12 - Package 208 - (7 January 2008)

  • NEW - CONGU Supplementary Scores; The option to choose the tees played when entering Supplementary Scores is added.

  • AMEND - CONGU Handicapping; To support CONGU ruling that combining men's and ladies scores in a mixed handicap qualifier to calculation a single CSS is optional for clubs (although recommended), a new option allowing opt out of a single CSS calculation is added to Apply Scores window.

  • AMEND - User Access; When allocating a new Handicap Award, the User is now required to have "Update" access for Handicapping (Man or Ladies). (Premier and Network editions only).

  • AMEND - User Access; When converting a Member to Visitor, the user is now required to have "Update" access for Visitor records. Likewise, when converting a Visitor to Member, the user is now required to have "Update" access for Membership records. (Premier and Network editions only).

  • AMEND - EGA Handicapping; Amend Competition Stableford Adjustment processing in line with 2008 Appendix D revision.

  • AMEND - EGA Handicapping; Amend Handicap Review Computer Analysis report in line with 2008 Appendix L revision.

  • FIX - Closed Competition List; If a competition was applied for a future year, then undone, the remaining closed competitions were listed under the wrong year tabs.

  • FIX - Society Edition; A prompt for 'CONGU Region' was mistakenly displayed when running 2008 edition for first time after an upgrade. Handicaps could be adjusted incorrectly as a result.

  • FIX - Supplementary Scores; Unexpected error 364 ("Object was unloaded") could occur when entering a Supplementary Score.

  • FIX - Edit Member; When editing a member without a handicap the Age Group can be incorrectly set to Junior.

Build 7.1.11 - Package 207 - (21 December 2007)

  • FIX - Competition Scoring Analysis report; Unexpected error 5 ("Invalid procedure call or argument") could occur when operating HandicapMaster on a computer with Windows 2000.

  • FIX - CONGU Competition Scratch Score; Ladies CSS calculated incorrectly for 2008 competitions (build 7.1.10 only).

Build 7.1.10 - Package 206 - (21 December 2007)

  • NEW - The "abandoned" setting for a closed competition is now remembered if the competition is undone and 'Apply Scores' wizard run again.

  • AMEND - Time taken by HandicapMaster to complete some tasks has been reduced. This includes saving golf course details, saving scorecards, applying scores and running letters.

  • AMEND - Additional information is now displayed on the 'Apply Scores' wizard windows as scores are processed.

  • FIX - Handicap Allowances in Mixed team competitions; Adjustments to Handicaps to take account of the different in handicapping for Men and Ladies in mixed competitions (Stableford and Par formats) were not taking account of both genders playing to the same Pars and Stroke Indexes.

  • FIX - First Award List; It was possible to delete a First Award for a Visitor.

  • FIX - CONGU Handicapping; Unexpected error 94 ("Invalid Use of Null") could occur processing Handicap records.

  • FIX - CONGU 9 Hole Handicaps report; Selecting this menu item whilst in the process of entering competition scores for a competition that was not a CONGU 9 hole qualifier caused a warning message to repeatedly be displayed on screen.

Build 7.1.9 - Package 205 - (13 December 2007)

  • NEW - Number of Good Holes Played report; You may now choose whether scores 'better' than the selected type (E.g. Birdies, Pars, etc) are included in the report.

  • FIX - CONGU Handicap Records; Handicaps could be miscalculated if first entries in handicap record were 'Handicap Scores' (scores to obtain a handicap) from prior to 2004 entered into records as part of previous Ladies Golf Union Handicap system.

  • FIX - Suspension of CONGU Handicap; Some CONGU handicap system clause numbers displayed in messages on screen had not been amended to 2008 numbering.

  • FIX - Score Entry; Unexpected error 80040E2F ("Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'IS_PAYING_FEE_1'") occurred when entering scores into a competition without sign-in, using Network edition.

  • FIX - Score Entry; Unexpected error 9 ("Subscript out of range") occurred when displaying the scorecard screen if not all of the course details were entered.

Build 7.1.8 - Package 204 - (7 December 2007)

  • NEW - Option to create a "CONGU 9 Hole Competition Handicaps" report is added. This report is a handicap conversion report, allowing competitors to match their 18 hole Exact Handicap to the applicable 9 Hole Handicap for the course being played (CONGU Handicapping Editions only).

  • NEW - CONGU Handicapping; Introductory text detailing the principal changes to the CONGU system in 2008, provided by CONGU, is added to the 'welcome' report.

  • AMEND - CONGU Handicapping; Separate "Home" and "Away" Competition Scratch Scores no longer calculated if competition is a Mixed open competition (following clarification from CONGU).

  • AMEND - Birdie Tree Wizard; This has now been amended to support Eagles, Pars, Holes in One and Twos as well as Birdies. The wizard has been renamed 'Number of Good Holes Played' report. You may now restrict the analysis to different age groups (such as Juniors only, for example).

  • AMEND: Check for Online Updates; This will now display information about major updates, and allow user to delay the installation.

  • FIX - Knock-out Competitions; Various fixes when selecting Knock-out Draw tasks and no Knock-out draws currently exist.

  • FIX - A member with a Club or a Disability Golf Handicap that was reduced partway through the season to become a CONGU handicap may have had an incorrect number of scores displayed on the Annual Review Report.

  • FIX - Eclectic Competitions; Clearing all competitions is now saved when Finish button clicked.

  • FIX - Mixed Stroke-play Competitions; Adjustment in handicaps to account for differences in Men's and Ladies Standard Scratch Scores was being used to reduce players handicaps instead of being added to player's handicaps, in error.

Build 7.1.7 - Package 203 - (19 November 2007)

  • NEW - Options to change a handicap award and/or date of handicap award using UNDO has been added.

  • New - In Set up a Competition Template, a "Delete" button is added to allow deletion of existing templates.

  • AMEND - The option to apply a limit to the number of strokes a player or team can receive (calculated BEFORE any proportion of handicap such as “3/4 Handicap allowance”) has been reinstated.

  • AMEND - Wording amended to improve clarity on Annual Review window (CONGU Handicapping Editions).

  • AMEND - Summary of Scores report; 'Ten best gross differentials' column now includes No return Gross Differentials as required (CONGU and Society Handicapping Editions).

  • AMEND - Add a New Visitor displays more meaningful message if visitor already exists and allows user to correct visitor name details.

  • AMEND - Warning added if date of new Handicap Award is in the future.

  • DELETE - Report "Identify Players for CONGU Annual Review" as been removed from Reports menu and is accessible from Annual Review window only (CONGU Handicapping Editions).

  • FIX - Away score of 'No Return' could not be entered.

  • FIX - Removing players from KO Draw selection when updating existing draw caused players to be listed twice.

  • FIX - Competition Results Report; Add "Stroke Rcd" to score column title for Par (Bogey) competition results.

  • FIX - Handicap List Report; Footer text was being printed too low on page when option to include page numbers on report was selected.

  • FIX - CONGU Annual Review Report; Starting Handicaps were incorrect on report.

  • FIX - CONGU Annual Review Report; Competition Scores with Gross Differentials of "NR" (no card returned) were causing incorrect analysis.

  • FIX - Selecting Away Player Handicaps at score entry time using up and down arrow resulted in incorrect values being displayed.

  • FIX - General Play Change; Unexpected error 35773 "A date was specified that does not fall within the MinDate and MaxDate properties" could occur in some circumstances when entering a General Play change.
