HandicapMaster 6.0.29 (Update Package 022) (7 December 2007)

  • New: Introductory report added with advice about forthcoming 2008 software.

HandicapMaster 6.0.28 (Update Package 021) (14 September 2007)

  • Amend: Add the GOLFnet registration numbers for the following clubs back into HandicapMaster: Portsalon, Castlereagh Hills.

  • Amend: Add "Castle Dargan" club to list of Ireland clubs, and rename "Luttrellstown" as "Luttrellstown Castle".

  • Amend: Golf Courses; Add new Scotland club "Royal Dornoch - Struie".

  • Amend: Ireland GOLFnet; Accommodate away scores being received with incorrect clause 19.8 adjustments (where adjustment incorrectly reported as an increase in Gross Score).

  • Fix (Ref. 60094) Undo event; When undoing a General Play adjustment the date displayed in the confirmation message was incorrect.


HandicapMaster 6.0.27 (Update Package 020) (23 July 2007)

  • Amend: The following clubs are no longer registered on the Ireland GOLFnet database service: Portsalon, Ballybeggan Park, University College Dublin, University Of Ulster, Garron Tower, University College Galway, Coldwinters, Dublin City University, Dublin University, Royal College of Surgeons, University College Cork, Castlereagh Hills, Queen's University and Carnbeg.

  • Fix (Ref. 60089) Best Scores Analysis Report; Unexpected error 3376 ("Table 'BEST_HOLES' does not exist.) when viewing report for a competition and that competition is undone.

  • Fix (Ref. 60093) Handicap Record Report; Suspension and restoration of ladies Handicaps did not show on printed CONGU Handicap Record reports (not Society Edition).

  • [Amend] Open a New Competition; As part of Repair 60066, for second and subsequent rounds of a Multiple-round competition, selecting a first round date for Handicapping is no longer supported in situations where the CONGU handicapping system requires players to use their Full and Current Playing Handicap whilst on the course (Club and Premier Editions only).

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60065) Eclectic Scores; Unexpected error 5 ("Invalid procedure call or argument") could occur when running wizard.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60066) **IMPORTANT** CONGU Handicapping; For Stableford (or Par) Handicap qualifying competitions played over more than one round where players play each round using their Handicap as at the start of the first round, HandicapMaster failed to base handicap adjustments for round two onwards on equivalent scores using adjusted Handicaps and was using first round Handicaps/Scores for handicapping in error. This could result in incorrect Nett Differentials being calculated (Club and Premier Editions only).

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60038) Edit Scorecard; It was not possible to edit a scorecard for a Foursomes or Greensomes competition if the competition had been applied and then Undone.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60039) Import; Importing a Visitor record, without a Handicap for the Visitor, resulted in the Visitor being imported as an Away Player in error.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60040) Multiple-Round Competitions; 'Handicaps at Start of First Round' were not being retained when applying second or subsequent round of a Stroke-play Multiple-round competition.


HandicapMaster 6.0.15 (Update Package 008) (10 May 2006)

  • [Amend] Analyse Scores Entered; Number of Cards Entered is now displayed in the heading above the Enter Scores Toolbar.

  • [Amend] Player Entry Screens; Number of Players Signed In count is now positioned after Cards Entered count, and does not display unless at least one Player has signed in (without entering their Scorecard). Premier edition only.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60031) Starred Handicaps; If a "Home" player was switched to "Away" player whilst their handicap was Lapsed (Starred) and a new Handicap Record started, it was not possible to restore their handicap from Starred status (Club and Premier editions, Scotland Region only).

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60032) Competition Results; Pairs competition results could be corrupted. This occurred when a Foursomes, Greensomes or FBBB competition was closed (Applied) or undone whilst another Pairs competition was Open with scores entered.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60033) Best Scores Analysis Report; Unexpected error 3314 ("The field 'BEST_HOLES.POINTS' cannot contain a Null value because the required property for this field is set to True") could occur.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60034) All members list; Names could be missing from list when Member Category deleted. Deleting a category is not normally possible unless a database relationship is missing. HandicapMaster will now validate and repair any missing relationships. This is an extremely unusual circumstance, only reported by a single customer.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60035) Upgrade from 5.3 or earlier; Error 'Index I_SEQ_NUMBER does not exist' could occur. This is an extremely unusual circumstance, only reported by a single customer.


HandicapMaster 6.0.14 (Update Package 007) (26 April 2006)

  • [New] “Membership Subscriptions, Invoices and Payments” Option is placed on full Release.

  • [New] Membership Option; A new Overdue Subscription Wizard is added. This allows users to create letters to be sent to members with overdue subscriptions.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60024) Upload to MasterScoreboard.co.uk; Unexpected Error 5 ('Invalid procedure call or argument') could occur when uploading data to Master Scoreboard.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60025) Applying Scores; When choosing to Aggregate rounds as a 36, 54 or 72 Hole Competition, past competition rounds were not being listed in chronological order.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60026) Membership Option (BETA); In the Invoice Template list clicking any of the Accounting Tasks now performs the appropriate actions.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60027) Membership Option (BETA); Raise Subscription Wizard; when a user double clicks a letter on the letters list page to edit it and then returns to the list the selected letter is correctly highlighted. Previously the letter at the top of the list was always highlighted after the edit.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60028) Membership Option (BETA); Raise Subscription Wizard; Unexpected Error 13 ('Type mismatch') occurred when user raised subscriptions by subscription template and selected the NONE template. The NONE template is now removed from the selection list.

HandicapMaster 6.0.13 (Update Package 006) (30 March 2006)

  • [New] Membership Option (BETA); The existing Overdue Subscriptions report is now named Overdue Subscriptions Summary. A new report Overdue Subscriptions is added where the actual invoices are generated. These can then be printed if required.

  • [Amend] Membership Option (BETA); When a receipt is printed the member's address or group contact (if appropriate) is added.

  • [Amend] Membership Option (BETA); Changed the Subscription and Invoice lists to have member name as first column, to assist with rapid selection of member from the list using keyboard entry.

  • [Amend] Membership Option (BETA); When raising subscriptions if any of the selected members have subscriptions that are more than 45 days away from expiry the user is asked if they wish to raise subscriptions for those members.

  • [Amend] (Ref. 60015) Handicap Record Report; When creating a Handicap Record Report for more than one Member, the Page Numbers were incorrect due to the insertion of the Table of Contents at the beginning of the report. The Table of Contents has been replaced with an Index at the back of the report.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60016) Viewing Reports; When using PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN keys to navigate through a report on screen, the toolbar was not updated to reflect the change in page.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60017) Upload to MasterScoreboard.co.uk; Unexpected Error 5 ('Invalid procedure call or argument') could occur when uploading data to Master Scoreboard.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60018) Score Entry; Cancel of score card was not effective if used in pairs based competitions, as selected players were not returned to the players list for re-selection.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60019) FBBB Medal Competitions; Handicap Stroke allowances and allocation were incorrect when FBBB Medal competition was played over a shortened course.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60010) Enter Scores; When changing format of opened competition, with competition played over less than 18 holes and some scorecards already entered, message SC004 could repeatedly be displayed.

  • [Fix] (Ref. 60011) Prevent Unexpected error 13 ("Type mismatch") When opening a New Competition. This would happen only when there had been a change of the computer regional settings and a competition fee had previously been defined.


HandicapMaster 6.0.9 (Update Package 004) (6 March 2006)

  • [Amend] Report Selection Screen; Where a report does not use the "What to Include in Report" section (shown greyed out), then section is now hidden instead.

  • [Amend] Opened Competitions List; Right-click pop-up menu changed to display "Enter Scores" as bold, matching the default action if an Opened Competition is double-clicked in the list.

  • [Amend] Scorecard window; Change "Save and Close" button to read "Enter" and use a different Icon, to help show that the scorecard can be completed using the Enter key on the keyboard.
