How to install the HandicapMaster Network Edition

Update an existing Network Edition Installation

To update an existing Network Installation please Download HandicapMaster and run this file on each computer where HandicapMaster is installed.

For a new Network edition installation please follow steps 1 and 2 below.

1. Installation on the SQL Server Computer (New Installation)

Not to be used for upgrading an existing installation.

Please follow our instructions for installing SQL Server Express and HandicapMaster onto the 'Server' PC.

Note: The 'Server' PC may be any PC in the network that meets the hardware and software requirements to run SQL Server Express. It need not be a PC running a server version of Microsoft Windows.

This step needs to be completed first, before installing on each Client PC.

2. Installation on each client PC (New Installation)

Not to be used for upgrading an existing installation.

Please follow our instructions for installing HandicapMaster onto each 'Client' PC.
