Registration using HandicapMaster

This information is for all registered Editions of HandicapMaster v9 or later.
You can use HandicapMaster to request registration on MasterScoreboard.co.uk using the following steps. A working internet connection is required.
  1. In HandicapMaster, click on FILE in the top menu bar and select PUBLISH TO INTERNET from the dropdown menu. This will start the Publish to Internet Wizard. Click NEXT.
  2. If you have a Central Database of Handicaps available, untick this service and tick the Master Scoreboard service. Click NEXT.
  3. If the ID in the Connection Settings is not '0', your club has already published to Master Scoreboard and a registration request is not required. Otherwise, click on the REQUEST SET-UP button to start the registration request form.
  4. On the request form, enter the contact name and email address for the registration and the name of the club to use on Master Scoreboard (this will be preset to the registered club name, but may be amended if necessary). These fields cannot be left blank.
  5. If your club uses multiple databases for different sections, a separate Master Scoreboard registration is required for each section. In this case, tick the box to indicate a section registration and then enter the section name in the additional field that is now shown. The section name will be incorporated into the Master Scoreboard name during set-up. If a section registration is selected, the section name cannot be left blank.
  6. If you have any further information which is relevant to the registration process, please enter details in the Notes field.
  7. Click the SEND button. This will send an email message to HandicapMaster support staff containing the details entered on the form. The name and code from the HandicapMaster registration details are also included, along with an indication of the handicapping type (to ensure the correct set-up on Master Scoreboard). A copy of the request email is sent to the contact email address.
  8. The registration request is now complete. In the Publish to Internet wizard, click the CANCEL button to abort publishing to Master Scoreboard.
When the registration request has been processed by HandicapMaster Support staff, the specified contact will receive a 'Welcome' message giving the Master Scoreboard ID and passcode and further instructions for using the service. The ID and passcode are required when running the Publish to Internet wizard to upload data from HandicapMaster.

HandicapMaster™ is a specialised Golf Competition and Handicapping program that may be run on any PC operating Windows (10 and 11). It is a combined Men's and Ladies' program all rolled into one (although HandicapMaster can be installed on different PCs or with separate databases if required). Only one payment is required for both men's and ladies' use, regardless of the number of databases.
All HandicapMaster Editions include the option to publish Golf Competition Results to the MasterScoreboard.co.uk web site, giving your members the ability to view competition results, handicap adjustments (where approriate) and analyse their scoring from their own homes.
Many clubs use HandicapMaster. They range from 9 hole clubs up to large multi-million pound developments. For example, our client list includes The Heritage. Home to the Seve Trophy 2007 and 2009.
We would be delighted if you were able to give HandicapMaster a go!
