Directions and Decisions of Unions

Clause 19.8 Adjustments for Away Scores (Ladies)

The English Ladies Golf Association, Scottish Ladies Golf Association and Welsh Ladies Golf Union have amended their Directions and Decisions to require Clause 19.8 ('Stableford Adjustments') to be applied to Away Competition Scores. This means that from 1st February 2005, clubs must apply Clause 19.8 adjustments for all Away Scores for ladies (with one exception, see next paragraph).

For Golf Clubs in Wales, the Welsh Ladies Golf Union has advised that Clause 19.8 adjustments must apply to ladies' Away Scores, but only where the lady is a member of the Away club.

Clause 19.8 Adjustments for Away Scores (Men)

The English Golf Union has amended their Directions and Decisions to require Clause 19.8 ('Stableford Adjustments') to be applied to Away Competition Scores. This brings the EGU in line with the English Ladies Golf Association.

There are no changes for the Directions and Decisions of the Scottish Golf Union, Welsh Golf Union, Golfing Union of Ireland and Irish Ladies Golf Union for 2005.
